This is a linux based operating system and each App should have “requirements” that get installed with it using a package management system. The Drobo Apps should be “click to install”. I downloaded all related TGZ files for the Drobo 5N from the GitHub pages. I uninstalled Crashplan from the Dashboard. So I read this thread and found the GitHub Drobo App repositories. Of course this isn’t a simple “click to install” process. My previous attempt to “install” Crashplan from the Dashboard worked but I was not able to configure it. My Dashboards and Firmware are currently at the latest release. I currently have a support case open but thought I would share what is happening on this thread. I am really starting to regret purchasing a Drobo 5N. Not a big deal, because I’m more concerned about CP at this point. Funny thing is that when I got crashplan working again droboadmin fails. I had to reinstall apache and droboadmin then reinstall crashplan.

I confirmed this behavior on both Windows and Mac clients/dashboards. The dialog in the DroboDashboard suggested I “Click Configure to get connection details.” Unfortunately I saw no “Configure” option within the dashboard. Installed the latest CrashPlan 4.3.0-1 for Drobo5N along with its prerequisites.
